What data do we collect?

 

South Cheshire Pickleball collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, postcode/ address)

  • The session(s) that you have booked on to

  • When you booked on to a session

  • How much you have paid

  • What level a player you are (self-inputted by South CheshirePickleball staff)

  • Any enquiries that you have made 

 

How do we collect your data?

 

You directly provide South Cheshire Pickleball with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email, such as the South Cheshire Pickleball feedback questionnaire.

  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

  • South Cheshire pickleball may also receive your data indirectly from alternative sources. 

How will we use your data?

 

South Cheshire Pickleball collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order, manage your account.

  • If you agree, South CheshirePickleball will send you special offers on other products and services we think you might like.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY — READ BEFORE CLICKING ACCEPT

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the South Cheshire Pickleball program, its related events and activities, I, (name of participant), the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:

 

  1. Pickleball is an active sport that requires fitness, balance, and mobility, and will play in ability appropriate sessions.

  2. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for injuries, small and significant, including the risk of permanent paralysis and death, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,

  3. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,

  4. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the Company immediately; and,

  5.  I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS South Cheshire Pickleball and Pickleball England., their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used for the activity (“Releasees”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
